THE GIRL BEHIND FOXXTAILZ

October 26, 2017

The moment I'd decided on my 'style tribe', I hit Instagram with a firm idea of who I wanted to ask to be featured in my interview, and zine.

Over the past few years I've found, and befriended, a lovely bunch of bloggers who are the most inspiring and supportive people you could wish to know. This lady is no exception.

I've been following Jess (foxxtailz) for a couple of years now I believe and she never fails to brighten up my social media. Whether it's through bright backgrounds in her posts, or her always vibrant hair, you notice her. She's exciting.

Now I know what you must be thinking, how does so much colour fit with the grunge theme? Remember I said I'm looking at how grunge, and alternative dressing, has shifted within fashion blogging and adapts with each outfit dependent on what you're styling it with? That's why I've chosen Jess. I think she embodies the alternative style with influences from multiple subcultures whether it's grunge, emo, Japanese cultures etc.

I'm excited to be able to work with her on this project and I want to say a massive thank you to her for agreeing to help a sister out in her hour of need.

Jess can be found on her blog here.
